Overview
Fixtures and Jigs are the foundation of every reliable automated or manual process. Spark Robotics designs and manufactures application-specific welding fixtures, assembly jigs, machining fixtures and inspection gauges based on your component drawings and process needs. Using 3D CAD design, tolerance analysis and quality fabrication, we build fixtures that position parts accurately, clamp them securely and deliver repeatable results shift after shift. They can be manual, pneumatic or hydraulic.
Accuracy that starts with good locating. A well-designed fixture locates every part from the same reference points, so welds, holes and assembled features land in the right place each time. In welding fixtures we plan clamp positions for torch and robot access and allow for heat distortion. In machining and assembly jigs we focus on rigid support, quick loading and error-proofing, so a part cannot be loaded the wrong way.
